Once Upon a Dream ~ Registration Time

 
Hello Friends!

I am very excited to let you know that registration is now under way for Once Upon a Dream! This is the destination art event that Jennifer Hayslip is hosting in beautiful Asheville, NC this October. It will be quite the fairytale, I have to say, right down to the tiniest beautiful detail.

For those who have attended one of Jennifer's previous events, you know that they are so much more than a group of women sitting at tables together hastily making an art project. It is truly a weekend retreat in a charming city, visiting beautiful venues, creating with kindred spirits, eating delicious meals {that you don't have to cook or wash the dishes from!}, complete with shopping, relaxing, endless girl talk and more laughter than you can imagine. To top it off, we will be creating together outdoors, under the sun in the fresh air. Doesn't it all sound incredibly wonderful? Like a dream!

Ah~ Plein air creating! Sounds wonderful...I want to come one of these days...I have my biggest event of the year in October. Andrea, I made one egg. It took me 4 hours,lol. But, it sure is pretty!

I'm rounding up the girls from that area that I know.
Do we have to make things? Like swap things? I'm so new to all of this. I know we can shop at the vendors night but???

oh i just spent 2 hours listening to the Once Upon A Dream music and reading every little precious detail of this weekend!! you knowwwww---i would go JUST to be able to meet you AND make your precious trio-ette!
so do you have to be a blog-diva (like yourself) to be able to attend?
or can ya just be a simple artist like me that always gives away everything she makes and always forgets to take pictures??

do gals try to share the expense of the hotel room?
do you need to have nice outfits for every outing---or can one wear their comfortable running shoes for the Biltmore Estate tour over dozens of acres?
will there be expectations that a novice such as i would know NOTHING about like the
"happy day i made it here!~welcome bags" for others??

actually, i have read about so many of these wonderful little get-a-ways and never was so tempted until now.
Ashville is a BEAUTIFUL area and your friend Jennifer seems like such a sweet soul, it REALLY sounds fun!
but as you know, i am a stay/work-at-home mama on my retired air force man's pay and i would need to know about the "$" surprizes!! haha
but for this?
