* the fact that it is officially Spring and the daffodils are on the brink of blooming
*playing in a pile of old millinery flowers
*getting organized and doing some good old Spring cleaning
*getting ready to go to a friend's house to play with a bunch of other friends
*watching my husband put a fresh coat of paint on the walls
*wearing a dress without my legs being chilly
*deciding which color to paint my toenails
* finally finishing up a handful of Easter Eggs topped with rumpled vintage flowers. {They will be for sale in the shop sometime on Monday. Maybe around noon EST. More or less.}
*Hearing the birds chirp, chirp, chirp as they build their nests
*feeling hopeful about all the good things that the warmer weather will bring
*what is YOUR Spring happiness?
My Spring happiness is being able to open windows wide to let fresh, birdsong filled air in!

The fresh green color of grass & buds, lilacs blooming soon, the birds chirping, open windows, warm breezes blowing...that's my spring happiness:)

i always think of a part of this poem everytime Spring comes around~ i think it's because i've always appreciated the Winters "purposes".
There is a curious paradox
That no one can explain.
Who understands the secret
Of the reaping of the grain?
Who understands why Spring is born
Out of Winter's laboring pain?
Or why we all must die a bit
Before we grow again.

Where I live, we're still dealing with 2 feet of snow but I'm dreaming of soft, warm dirt to plant my seeds in & watching the blooms come alive in the sun. Windows open & the sound of the birds & the laughter of playing children, cooped up inside for months & finally able to be free!
Love your blog. Thank you for sharing.

My spring is when the river burst open and the water starts flowing. It happened spot on March 21st. Perfect timing.
Haven't seen a robin yet... that's when my spring comes to life.
Happy Weekend
Love Claudie

Well, where we live we're being teased. One day warm, the next few rainy, then bright but cold, then snow!
What I love about Spring is Spring Cleaning. Opening up all the windows and letting the fresh cool air breeze in while I mop the floor, clean all the curtains and dust away the winter blahs.
I love going out while it's warm with a hint of coolness and letting the kids play without dying of heat or frostbite!

I like the fact that it's still chilly, but we have flowers and sunshine too. Can't stand mid summer, when it's sweltering, but this time of year is just beautiful.
lovely post xx

I love Spring's warmer weather and the sight of bird's nest in the tree by my kitchen window. The sound of the baby birds chirping, calling for their mommy.
Happy Spring Andrea!!!

Andrea,
I watched all day for your eggs, and then I had to teach a class at 12:05...I missed them, waaaaa!! I know that you are so busy with the kids, but are you going to make anymore? Please!!!

Hello my friend,
They are BEAUTIFUL. Honestly, the colors...sigh! I would try my hand at these too, but vintage millinery flowers are not plentiful or inexpensive here, I would pay $25 just for the flower, if I were lucky enough to find one. LOL. That would be a golden egg INDEED. Let me know if you list more. I too missed within the hour. My spring happiness, an alfresco breakfast of cheerios and an english muffin with the morning sun shining down on my kitchen patio and the forsythia in full bloom! Can't wait! xox

So many pretty things going on here to celebrate spring. Living in the tropics we don't see that locally but I do remember the fresh green tips of buds on the first sunshine filled day.

Here in Michigan, where it's always 20 degrees below comfortable, I'm still waiting to catch your spring fever. It did cheer me up, though. A visit to your beautiful blog always does!

My spring happiness would be SPRING CLEANING. I don't know why of all the seasons, I got so motivated cleaning only in springtime. I think, maybe, because of the weather. =)

Heya this is kinda of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog. Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I'm thinking about making my own but I'm not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Appreciate it
