Thanks so much for your comments on the previous post. I enjoyed reading them all, and am happy you share my Florentine love. Several of you even have the same nesting tables from your grandmothers!
Pretty neat.
Gifting for no reason at all is fun to me. Really.... who doesn't like getting a gift? Honestly, I love giving them just as much, and I'm planning to have more upcoming surprises for you sprinkled throughout my blog.
Congratulations to TINA! You were the girl with the lucky number according to www.random.org! Your goodies are all wrapped up in a yard of lace fabric and tied with velvet ribbons, leaves and a rumpled old rose. The box will be sent just as soon as I get your address.
I hope you enjoy this little piece of Italy.
{warning: the Amaretti will vanish if you leave them sitting out.....}

I've always loved the Florentine style items since I was young. Our family visited Italy and I came home with a Florentine trinket box. I have cherished that little box for many years. Lately, I've picked up a Florentine style wastebasket, desk accessories, and a tissue box cover. The patterns don't all match, but they look great together anyway. Thanks for the inspiring (previous) post!
