Oh Andrea how beautiful you describe & share who you grandfather is..Nothing like the old school folks. Life is funny as you know it seems the passing of a loved one usually brings a new birth...so now your little

Blessings & peace to you & your family. xo Laura

I'm so sorry for your loss, Andrea.

As a grandparent myself, I have to say that was a lovely tribute. You must have been a joy to him.

You Grandpa sounded like such a beautiful person. You honored him with such love in this post and I'm sure he's smiling down on you right now! Hold tight those memories and everything he has taught you. He really was part of the "greatest generation"

So sorry for what you lost. I know; you just discribed my daddy, who I lost 7 years ago. You will miss him everyday and in time, it will be in a "good way". He sounds like a very special person and I agree, he truly was part of the "greatest generation"

MY Grandfather loved Big Red too!! Oh I'm so sorry for your loss! He has so much to be proud of in you! Big hugs for beloved memories sent your way. I posted a little something on Facebook to you...Happy Birthday Doll! xoxo Molly

P.S. ~I hope your having a wonderful Birthday!!!
Sincerely, Tricia K.

Oh Andrea... words cannot express how sorry I am for the pain you are carrying right now. I never had the fortune of meeting either of my grandfathers, so I can only imagine your pain right now. He sounded like a wonderful, truly genuine man. May God comfort you and your family during this difficult time and may the beautiful memories you hold help his memory live on and get you through this difficult time.

My heart goes to you and your family. <3

My "Nana" meant the same to me and when I bake and sew, I know she is never far away.

I'm sorry for your loss, Andrea. But, take comfort in knowing that he was a wonderful, loving person and you were lucky to have him as your grandfather. His hugs will always be your warmth as will his love & spirit until you all see him again.

I'm sorry about your grandfather Andrea. But how wonderful that he lived such a good life and that he loved and was loved so much. You cant beat that.
Hugs to you!

A beautiful tribute to an obviously much loved man. {{hugs}}. Caz xx

so sorry.

Thinking of you and prayers to your family. What wonderful memories to cherish. I remember mine the best with his old straw hat, big smile, and those funky straw like loafers sitting with his famous bloody mary by the lake. Cherish those memories with your children--I can't wait to share those with my little one as she won't meet any great grandparents. xo Kris
