My 100th post! Hard to believe and yet not, all at the same time. I started this blog in February and had hopes of connecting with like minded, vintage-loving, crafty girls. I have met so many kind people through the amazing Internet, and blogging has far exceeded my expectations. It's so reassuring to know that so many of you "get" what I do and what I love because you love the same things. I always appreciate and look forward to reading all of your comments. I read every single one of them and wish I had time to respond to each one. Some of you have been following this blog from the very beginning, and I thank you for sharing in my journey for all this time! For those of you who are new readers or perhaps have stumbled across this blog via Artful Blogging magazine, welcome! I hope you find it's a cozy place to be.
I thought this celebration needed some sparkle so it seemed to be a perfect opportunity to introduce to you the two new German glass glitter colors that will soon be available at One Hundred Wishes! Aren't they gorgeous? They are brand new shades from the manufacturer, and they are even more stunning in person. It's difficult to capture the twinkle in a photograph. My shipment has just arrived. As soon as I can bottle and label it all, 4 oz. glass bottles of this sparkling magic will be for sale in the shop!
This is the blush pink glitter.
And this is the soft blue glitter.
I spent a good bit of time researching German glass glitter manufacturers before I chose the one I currently work with. I bought samples from several different companies, and I used them all. In my opinion, the manufacturer I ultimately chose produces the finest, most sparkling glitter available.....not all glass glitter is created equal.
So, as a small token of thanks and to help me celebrate my 100th post, one of you will receive a bottle of each color on her doorstep! Simply leave a comment by midnight on Sunday. I'll draw a name on Tuesday and announce the lucky winner.
I hope you enjoy the last official weekend of summer! We're heading to Ohio to visit family one last time before the baby is born. Riding in a car for 7 hours does not sound like fun right now, but it's always worth it to see all of our loved ones........and hit the flea market with my mom!
Hi Andrea, if I am still in time for the contest please count me in!
Congrats on your 100th post!
Your blog is simply gorgeous, you are so talented, and have the best eye candy! :O)
