LOL Yep, I'd need a Uhaul too! I think that bag is pretty awesome. One of these days I'll have to make myself something pretty from AB fabric.

Hi Andrea,
First let me say how much I ADORE the vintage wallpaper pack that you sent me a couple of weeks ago. I've been meaning to post a BIG THANKS ever since then.

LOVE the Amy Butler bag!!! I'm a bag-lover as well...mostly totes made from cool, vintage-y fabrics.

There is a local gal which my boss just turned me on to. Her website is www.starfishclothes.com and her bags are AWESOME!!! Very artsy (and acutally, much better in person.) Just wanted to share with my thanks again!

A diaper bag! Great idea! I saw this bag at A.C. Moore but knew that it wouldn't work as an art "tote" for me either. It's so cute though.

I also have a love of vintage purses. I would love to see some of your collection. If i EVER locate my camera I will be sure to post some of mine too.

Very pretty purse. Love the fabric.
My daughter is a purse-a-holic too.
I am a shoe person.
Have a wonderful weekend,

I love the bag! I might not be a size 10 in shoes, but when you have to add a W after that size 6 or 7, you aren't a shoe person either. I was into sweaters but I think I like purses better, doesn't matter whether there is snow or not!

Great post! My daughter is a double whammy! Both shoes and purses! More than you can imagine...and she is only 21! Wait till she's 40! I myself am neither, really....but would be more of a shoe person...if they are comfortable...and let's be honest...sensible, comfortable shoes are not always fashion wows!

This is so lovely!!!

LOVE that purse ~ do you know if they can be ordered online? ~ have to have one for me and get one for a gift. I am totally a purse person as I too have a LARGE foot for a girl and sometimes I feel like I have huge tanks on the ends of my legs. I usually purchase the purse and then outfits, shoes ,etc. are purchased to fit around the bag!
Have a great week.

Andrea, I also love, love, love handbags. I have many and love new and vintage. I should post a picture I took with a bunch of my handbages out in my room. I didn't do it yet, but I think I might, and you should too! That would be fun. I love your new purse and I agree that it would make a great diaper bag.

Great purse! I love that fabric. Did you see the shower curtain made from that fabric or something similar in Country Home magazine? The walls were painted green to match and the tile was white. I'm wanting to do that in my bath!

I had to have a purse made from Amy Butler fabric this spring. No time to sew, so mine came from ebay.

I wear a size 10, too, and I know what you mean about shoes looking like canoes!!

Big-footed girls unite! I too am a size 10 and nothing looks quite as cute on these big boats. And like you, I'm a purse fiend! I've never met a purse I didn't like, at least a little bit. That Amy Butler is a wonder, isn't she? Adorable!

I love purses too! Unfortunately, the older I get the more expensive my tastes become!

What a great diaper bag it would make! I just got a new "vintage" purse! I hope that you show your collection soon!

Perhaps you would like to visit tomorrow? I have BIG NEWS to share and NEED EVERYONES HELP!!! We are not able to say anything more. So please stop by and help out if you can...it is easy.
With Kindness,

What a gorgeous bag! I'm a shoe girl and a handbag girl, but I can relate on the size issue. When you wear a 5 (or smaller) and ask to try on your size, they say "Hmm.. no. Can I show you something in a Barbie? Or maybe a nice Dora the Explorer?"

Beautiful bag! And such a beautiful blog. I am more of a shoe person myself but I do like your whole speel about what bags are good for. =)

I have always felt bad about my collection of purses--like I was betraying the purses each time I traded them out for another....but then I embraced it, and accepted who I am :) A purse collector:)

Oh my gosh, I love these purses! Especially the aqua one. Oh, so sweet.

Oops, posted on the wrong post. I meant to post on the wicker purses!

I think you might enjoy a book on ballet crafts, "The Dancer's Book of Ballet Crafts," carried by Amazon.com. I am the author,
I enjoyed your blog.

Oh..... verry nice blog!!!
greetings from germany annette!
