A Minor Setback
So, I lost the memory card to my camera. My beloved memory card. I've spent 3 days searching for it with no luck.
Among many other photos, all of the pictures of the sweets that were scheduled to make their One Hundred Wishes debut this weekend were on that card. I was foolish in not downloading them to my computer right away.
I'm fairly certain Mario got a hold of it and it's now buried deep in the toy basket or perhaps down the slots of the heat register.
Or maybe it's made it way into Thomas the Tank Engine's little town. Mario has always been intrigued by that little blue card and it was just a matter of time.....
The other possibility is that it's somewhere in the mess that I used to call an office/studio. I think this is a sign from God that I need to get organized and get rid of some STUFF. {why do I feel like this is a recurring theme in my blog posts?} I used to be so incredibly organized, but shop goods have pretty much taken over the house. We've been tossing around the idea of moving so I could have a proper and much larger studio and office workspace. I plan to be in this business for the long haul, and it has grown to the point where my space is bursting at the seams.
Anyway, I shall continue the search and let you know what I find. In the meantime, I'll start taking new pictures just as soon as the sun comes out again. {no pictures for this girl on gloomy days, since I don't like to use a flash.}
Happy Weekend to all!

Oh, so sorry...stop looking, but a new, very expensive memory card and it will show up!
Love the shot of the toy basket!
Glad to hear you're in the business for the long haul, I just love your shop! I was just wondering last night how you manage to keep all of your inventory at home. I had visions of an incredibly organized, beautifully displayed inventory (and was a tad jealous)...good to hear you're in there with the rest of us! I just posted about my studio clean up a few posts ago...I can completely relate!

Hi, Andrea--
Oh, I feel sick to my stomach for you! How frustrating. As you said, though, it probably will turn up. Let's hope that happens TODAY! You have a great attitude about re-shooting. I share your predilection for shooting on sunny days. That's my M.O., too. :)
Talk to you soon.

I hope you find your card! One that I had got damaged and deleted my ONLY Halloween pictures the year my daughter was one year old. Just typing that still makes me a little ill! Can't wait to see (and buy) some of your wonderful sweets! Hope you have a great weekend despite the set back:)

Andrea,
Don't you know the St. Anthony prayer for finding something lost?
"Good Saint Anthony, come around, something is lost and can't be found." Just keep repeating it and you WILL find that media card!

So sorry to hear about your mishap with the card! I found mine in the dog bed in the dog's mouth, and a big credit card bill later, I now have Coe's baby pictures. Sending lots of prayers your way that you will find it. I'm sure it will turn up somewhere. So very happy to hear you plan to continue with the shop -- I couldn't imagine not having 100 Wishes to shop at for supplies! Looking forward to the sweet treats!

We built a huge house 13 years ago to accomodate shop stuff etc etc...now I have a brick and mortar shop it too is stuffed, the new house and everywhere in it, plus a gigantic garage 5 ' high...what I am saying is it just gets worse! I just have to keep it rotating...and hopefully I can get to it! good luck, hope you find your card.

Hope that card turns up somewhere. Maybe you need to offer a 'reward ' to the boys and they can help find it.
