A Week in Pictures
After a wonderful trip, we're finally settled back in our nest. It was one of the nicest trips "home" I've ever taken. My parents just moved into their brand new house, and we so enjoyed staying there and spending time with them.
It was COLD and snowy and fun. As you can see, Sam's winter hat photo shoot didn't last too long .......
Big brother Mario however, was more than happy to pose for the camera before his big sledding expedition with Papa and Grandpa.
I love this picture. He had so much fun!
Sam's Baptism was a special day. He wore the beautiful gown that George was baptized in in Italy back in 1967. It is all hand sewn and the laces and silk ribbons are just gorgeous. As I got him dressed I thought, This must be what it's like to dress a little girl. It's definitely the frilliest thing he'll ever wear!
Here is the jacket that goes over the gown.
The Baptism must have worn him out. Sleepy Sam and me.
And, now it's back to work for me. This week, I've been packing up the orders that were placed while I was gone. I plan to get it all done by the weekend. If you are waiting on an order, I thank you for your patience.....it's on the way!

Hi Andrea,
Glad you had such a nice time.
The kids look so adorable.
Don't work too hard!!
Have a good rest of the week,
Rosemary

Andrea...
I don't think I've ever seen cuter kids...really...now mine were and still are cute...but I'm telling you...yours are just the cutest!
Mario looks like he is so grown up in that picture...and Sam...too cute in the overalls and warm hat.
I LOVE the christening gown..I am sure it makes your husband and his family very proud that each son has worn it...and Sam was breathtaking in his mommies arms. My grandmother made one for my brother, me and my sister...we all three wore it at our baptisms. It was all handmade, too...the handwork on it is incredible. I was the lucky one who got to keep it...I have it upstairs hanging on a small wooden childs hanger...and I love it! I think possibly I should have it framed to preserve it...but I so love looking it over from time to time...it has a slip and dress and the cutest little hand crocheted shoes to go with it.
Enjoy your week...
Blessings...

I just clicked on your site and have to admit I let out a little gasp. I guess I just wasn't expecting one of the cutest faces ever to be staring back at me. And Mario, bundled up from head to toe...you must be in heaven!

Welcome back. What cute kids! I love christenings and gowns that are passed down in the family. I made one for my niece when she was born and it's been used in many family christenings.
